Preparation - What to Wear

Favourite clothes are best.  That way you'll feel comfortable and able to enjoy your photographic session.

Whilst the motto is to always ‘keep it simple', you can include different necklines.  Solid dark colours and layers work really well, however it's best to avoid stripes, spots and clothes with logos.

We will  recommend experienced  hairdressers and make up artists to complete your look.

Men are encouraged to shave before their portrait session to minimize any five o'clock shadows.   We provide you with a light face powder to reduce imperfections and face shine.

A haircut a week before your portrait session is best as freshly cut hair often looks unnatural.

Children's laughter, spontaneity and joy are priceless - and our experienced photographers at Kim Tonelli Photography will capture these magical and fleeting moments.

We also love to have fun - so we make a special effort to ensure that the children we photograph enjoy themselves. That way, we tap the essence of their true personality, which is the best way to create an awesome, candid and unique portrait.

Preparation

Please allow an hour for your photographic session at a time that best suits your child. Ideally, we like children to be photographed at their pace, when they are well-rested and well fed. Plain simple clothing works best. Dress the children in what they enjoy wearing and what you like seeing them in, keeping in mind that the final portrait will be a treasured piece of art in your home.

These include sepia, cross processed prints, watermark prints, and vignettes, all produced to the highest standards using the best possible quality processes and materials. Our award-winning team at Kim Tonelli Photography will happily assist you to produce a personally tailored company and staff profile. Our services can include a range of makeup and styling and art design specialists. A corporate portrait session can take up to 30 minutes depending on your requirements. A typical schedule for a head and shoulder shoot is as follows:-

• Hair and makeup (if applicable) 15 mins per person
• Individual 5 mins per person
• Groups of 5-10 10 mins
• Groups of 10+ 15 mins
• Hair & make up removal (if required) 5 mins per person

Kim Tonelli Photography offer a choice of three pet photography packages, from the really special VIP “Posh” cameo, using sets, props and studio lights to the “au naturale” beachside shots.  Your favourite clothes are best. That way you’ll feel comfortable and able to enjoy your photographic session.
